POSITION:    Pediatric Occupational Therapist
STATUS:        Full-Time or Part-Time
SCHEDULE:  Flexible, the greatest need is during the after school hours

JOB SUMMARY:
Premier Pediatric Therapy Source is an innovative and growing therapist-owned practice that offers Occupational, Physical, Speech, and Nutrition services to children birth to 18 years within family homes, the community, Telehealth as well as in our state-of-the-art clinic located in Annandale, VA.

We have an exciting and rewarding position available for an experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team of OTs, PTs, SLPs, and Registered dietitians.  We pride ourselves on having a strong team culture with diverse clinical backgrounds and are looking for a therapist who will bring a unique element to our team that will complement the services and programming we offer families.

Required Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Occupational Therapy.
  • Active Virginia State Licensure.
  • Minimum 5 years experience working with the pediatric population as an Occupational Therapist and preferably 3 years working with children 0-5.
  • Working knowledge and ability to determine medical necessity without the use of standardized assessments
  • Strong ability to work independently.
  • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate well with families, funding source personnel, and other professionals.
  • Strong Sensory Integration and behavioral background.
  • Possess exceptional time management skills.
  • Possess exceptional writing skills.
  • Basic computer experience (Microsoft Office, Internet, Electronic Medical Record, etc.).
  • Reliable transportation.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Sensory Integration and/or behavioral background.
  • Feeding and Swallowing Experience.
  • Floortime Experience
  • AAC Experience
  • Neuro Experience
