Premier Pediatric Therapy Source is an innovative and rapidly growing therapist-owned practice that offers Occupational, Physical, Speech Therapy, and Nutrition Counseling services for children birth to 18 years within family homes, the community, Telehealth as well as in our state-of-the-art clinic located in Annandale, VA.

We have an exciting and rewarding position available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team of therapists as a team lead. This position will entail providing mentorship and supervision to the occupational therapy team, program development and collaboration with the Speech and Physical Therapy team leads and carrying a caseload with varied conditions and age ranges.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Participate in program development activities in collaboration with the therapy and administrative team
  • Mentor and supervise occupational therapy staff and students.
  • Conduct in-service training for staff, as needed
  • Play an active role in the hiring and orientation of new therapy staff.
  • Attend and participate in training and staff meetings.
  • Conduct parent/community workshops, as needed
  • Complete evaluation, treatment, consultation and discharge planning for children within the outpatient clinic program
  • Use evidence-based interventions appropriate for each child and their written outcomes.
  • Documentation within the practice’s electronic medical record.
  • Maintain professional clinical competency requirements.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures, regulations, laws and ethical standards.
  • Ensures an exceptional experience for children and families.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • MA degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
  • Active Virginia State Licensure in good standing.
  • Minimum 7 years experience working with the pediatric population as an Occupational Therapist 
  • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate well with families, funding source personnel, and other professionals.

  • Feeding experience
  • AAC experience
